Earlier this weekend my mom was reading the local newspaper: Great Yarmouth Mercury where she pointed out an article, she thought I would like reading. Oh boy, was she right! It was about a new cool skatepark for skaters, bikers and scooters of all ages too enjoy, called Beccles skatepark. The project of replacing the agent wood park has been a working task by the Beccles Skatepark Community and Beccles Town Council since 2015. By investing £150,000, I think they have managed to create a whole new and fresh image!
My family and I often travel to the well-known market town Beccles in the summer, to visit my grandparents and take a nice swim at Beccles lido, which is a public bath. Although the average drive is around 30 minutes away from Great Yarmouth, my dad is a slow driver and we often arrive in 50 minutes. I don’t really mind, considering I’m either being distracted by games on my phone or YouTube videos.
As soon as I finished my homework, my mom was kind enough to drive me and my friends to the new attraction. I had recently bought my skateboard from our local skate shop in Great Yarmouth called Smash Skates, and I was more than ready to try it out! When we arrived, the park was packed with excited kids around my age wanting to improve their skills. The adrenaline soon kicked in when I pushed off with my foot and the wheels went rolling!
When taking a break from skating, I was able to take some nice pictures to show you guys, reading my blog! My eyes were especially fixated on the talented guy in the blue t-shirt. He did multiple tricks I didn’t even recognise, the only tricks I knew was kickflip and ollie. You can sure say that I felt like a noob when standing next to him.
As the day went by, my friends, John and Agnes needed to go home for dinner and I needed to finish my chores. In conclusion, this day was pure awesomeness and I will recommend everyone reading this blog to visit Beccles Skatepark!

Sounds like a lot of fun and skatepark looks awesome.
SvarSlettCool! I dont know how to skate at all. I think these kids look like GODS, flying high up in the air, moving like birds and snakes combined.
