My favorite fotball player is dead ...

Okey, so this is one of the sad ones. My biggest idol died a week ago…

Halo guys, its me, Dylan Jonas here. I have felt terrible the last couple of days now because my idol, my favorite fotball player ever, died in a flight accident a week ago. I am speechless. And the way i found it out was terrible too.

I had just come home from school that day, everything was so good. The sun was shining, and it was friday so we were done with school for this week. Ready for the weekend you know. I sat down in my schear in the living room so, so, sooooo excited. Because me and my Family was going on a flight to watch a football game between Cardiff and Arsenal. The match was january the 25th. We won som tickets to the match on a radio competition where we were supposed to guess the right artist and the right title of the song. We did not know we had won until we got the tickets in the postbox. This is not just great because i get to see a football match. You probably think i have been to many other matches earlier since i live in cardiff, and cardiff is a fotball city. But no, the tickets are very overpriced, we haven't got enough money to pay for a them. So I watch the matches on the TV, in my cheer in the living room.

So now you know how excited i was to go to Arsenal. But maybe the best part of the whole thing was that this was not just ordinary tickets. It was VIP tickets. And we got to meet every single player at both of the teams. We were allowed to visit their wardrobe!!! WOW, it was so freaking awesome! We had our own seat close to the pitch, and we got free food. Real service!

But when me and my dad was is their wardrobe taking some pictures with the players, i asked one of them were Emiliano Sala was, and then everyone became silent. I got eye contact with one of them and he pointed at his arm. He had a yellow ribbon tight around his upper arm. And then i understood that something terrible happened to him. So i asked dad what happen to him, as a tear rolled down my cheek. He explained that his private plane disappeared from the radar. “he is dead” he said, and then suddenly the most beautiful and maybe the best day in my life turned into a nightmare…

Although my day was ruined, i enjoyed watching the game. And it help a little that Cardiff smashed Arsenal  4-1. But i was still in a shock, so i think i ate up all the free food we got… Ups.

  1. great story, but it kinda got me imagining you at the end just like sitting and devouring all the free food and like " yea he's dead, at least we get some food"
